Regulations
  1. The Internet shop is led by Sonovero Chmiel and Ściegienny Sp. Jawna, hereinafter and on the websites referred to as “Serenissima Kluboksięgarnia’ or ‘the Antique Shop’.

     

  2. The Antique shop sells commodities through the Internet.

     

  3. Orders are accepted through an Internet website using the website’s software.

     

  4. Immediately after the order is made the Customer receives an e-mail with the ordered items listed and the amount due, that is the cost of the books + shipment cost.

     

  5. After the order is made, payment (cost of the books + shipment cost) or personal collection should follow within 7 days. After this period unpaid orders will be cancelled and the book/books ordered will be once again available for sale.
  6. In case of the Antique Shop receiving payment after order cancellation:

     

    1. if the Antique Shop has the ordered books, the cancelled order is carried out;

       

    2. if the Antique Shop does not have the books requested in the cancelled order, the Antique Shop returns the amount paid for the cancelled order, by means of a transfer to the bank account indicated by the payer, decreased by the cost of the transfer.

       

  7. The order is carried out if the books are available in the warehouse. Should any element of the order be unavailable, the Customer is informed about the state of the order and decides how it will be carried out (partly, with prolonged waiting time, partly cancelled).

     

  8. All prices are given in Polish zloty (PLN) and include VAT. The price given with every commodity is binding at the moment of the Customer making the order, excluding books with the description: “Given price is approximate”.
    a)   The price of the books with the description: “Given price is approximate” need to be confirmed by the bookshop’s employee. The confirmed price is binding.
     
  9. The Antique Shop reserves the right to change the price of the commodities offered, to add new items to the Antique Shop’s offer, to run and cancel promotion campaigns on the Shop’s websites and to change them.
  10. The number of items in bargain prices and on sales is limited and the confirmed orders are carried out based on the order in which they come until the stocks included in the particular form of sale run out.

     

  11. To every order a receipt or, after the Customer’s request, a VAT invoice is issued. The VAT invoice is issued when all items ordered by the Customer are assembled and ready for shipment.

     

  12. The sale agreement of the commodities is concluded in accordance with the Polish law and in the Polish language.

     

  13. The cost of the shipment will be included in the price of the items and will be proportionate to their value. Shipment is carried out in the form chosen by the client and specified in the order.
  14. The Customer may choose the following forms of payment:

     

    1. payment on delivery: payment collected by a postman or a courier;

       

    2. transfer to the Antique Shop’s bank account.

       

  15. Parcels sent abroad may only by paid for by means of a transfer to a bank account.

     

  16. Books published before 1945 cannot be sent outside the territory of the Republic of Poland without a permission from the Minister of Culture. If such a permission is not issued, the Antique Shop shall decline shipment of a book abroad.

     

  17. Complaints – some books in the shop are described as used books and cannot be returned. Hidden defects in books, such as damage not specified in the technical description of the book, e.g. missing or blank pages, may be a basis for replacement or refund. In case of replacement or refund, the details are agreed upon individually with the Customer.

     

  18. The Antique Shop reserves the right to change these regulations. The regulations in their changed form are effective from 00:00:00 the next day following the day of the announcement. All orders made in the Antique Shop until that date are carried out in accordance with the regulations in their prior form. An order is made when it is entered into the database of the website, not when the money is transferred to the account.

     

  19. Any disputes arising from the sale agreement shall be resolved by the court competent for the defendant’s registered office.
